Tour Description

Amalfi has a reputation for great food whether its San Marzano tomatoes straight off the vine or the enormous and intensely aromatic lemons - perfect for making the famous limoncello. During the week-long holiday you will also get the chance to visit an artisan fior di latte (mozzarella cheese) producer too.
Dishes you will sample include: pasticciotti (pastry tart oozing with lemon custard - best eaten with a strong Neopolitan coffee), tonati e patate (calamari), spaghetti al limone, ricci e peperoncini (typical handmade pasta with fresh tomato & chilli sauce), marinated anchovies, fresh local seafood including parpandalo shrimps, prawns, clams and fish baked on lemon leaves.
Accommodation is in a selection of villas hand-picked for their stunning locations on the sea front: picture towering cliff-top villas looking out over the spectacular views of the Amalfi coast. All of the villas come with private pools and ample space to catch some sun, with a glass of bubbly in hand, after the day’s lesson.

Day 1:

Naples – Amalfi Coast Transfer from Naples airport or make your own way to the villa for welcome drinks on the terrace, followed by dinner prepared by the local chef. (D)


Day 2:

Amalfi Coast After breakfast, first cookery lesson with the chef, enjoying the results for lunch. The afternoon is at leisure. Dinner is prepared at the villa. (B,L,D)


Day 3:

Ravello Morning cookery lesson and then lunch. In the afternoon, explore Ravello, a local town where you will have the opportunity to sightsee, shop or have a wander around its ancient streets. Return to the villa for dinner. (B,L,D)


Day 4:

Amalfi Coast Another cookery lesson and then lunch. The afternoon is at leisure to relax by the pool or enjoy the breathtaking views of the Amalfi Coast landscape. Dinner tonight is at the villa. (B,L,D)


Day 5:

Sorrento – Positano Travel to Sorrento to explore the local area. Transfer to Positano late morning, for lunch at a local trattoria. The rest of the afternoon is at leisure to discover more of Positano’s charm. Dinner tonight is at the villa. (B,L,D)


Day 6:

Amalfi Coast Fourth cookery lesson, followed by lunch. Spend the afternoon in the villa, relaxing and unwinding with your fellow guests. Dinner will be served at the villa. (B,L,D)


Day 7:

Amalfi Coast Final full cookery lesson and lunch. Enjoy your last afternoon relaxing in the villa, with a pizza making lesson in the evening before a special farewell dinner. (B,L,D)


Day 8:

Amalfi Coast – Naples Tour ends with a group transfer to Naples Airport. (B)
