Day 1:

Milan – Monferrato Area - Turin Depart Milan for the Monferrato area, in the south-east of the Piedmont region. Arrive in Acqui Terme, an old city founded by the Romans famous for its original aqueduct. Continue to Casale Monferrato and finally Turin, the capital of the region.

Day 2:

Turin Today is dedicated to visiting Turin. See the Palace of Venaria, a former royal residence, and continue to the Basilica of Superga, built at the beginning of the 1700s by command of the King of Sardinia Victor Amadeus II. After lunch, visit the downtown area and see the Piazza Castello, Palazzo Madama and other well-known sights. (B)

Day 3:

Turin - Langhe Region - Asti - Turin After breakfast, set off for La Morra and visit a typical Barolo wine cellar for a tasting. Continue to Grinzane Cavour to see the castle and Alba, famous for its white truffles and Ferrero Rocher chocolates. Visit a shop to taste white truffle cream. Proceed to Asti, home of the sparkling wine Asti Spumante. Visit of the downtown before returning to Turin. (B)

Day 4:

Turin - Courmayeur - Aosta - Milan Travel to Fenis to admire the medieval castle, and then Courmayeur, an alpine resort at the foot of Mont Blanc. Continue to Aosta, once an important Roman settlement that retains a charming historic centre, before returning to Milan where the tour ends. (B)
