Day 1:

Foligno – Montefalco Morning transfer from Foligno station. After lunch visit Montefalco for wine tasting. Four course dinner including wine at the accommodation every evening. (L,D)

Day 2:

Perugia – Deruta Visit Perugia and enjoy a guided walk through the medieval ghost town under Rocca Paolina. Travel to Deruta and browse the ceramics in this artisan town. (B,D)

Day 3:

Orvieto Visit Orvieto, a ruggedly beautiful hilltop town, to see the weekly markets and explore its fascinating array of shops. Enjoy a guided visit to the Duomo. (B,D)

Day 4:

Gubbio Visit the historic centre of Gubbio with its decidedly medieval aspect: the town is austere in appearance because of the grey stone, narrow streets, and Gothic architecture. (B,D)

Day 5:

Bevagna – Spello Visit Bevagna to see a medieval house complete with frescoes and weaving looms and the town’s Roman mosaics. Continue to Spello and take in the sights along the Via Cavour beginning with Santa Maria Maggiore and the Baglioni Chapel. Walk around the floral decorated streets and visit traditional art and artisans shops. (B,L,D)

Day 6:

Assisi – Spoleto Travel to Assisi, the home of St. Francis. A guided tour includes the Basilica of San Francesco. Spend the afternoon in Spoleto, a town rich in Roman and medieval history, with a guided tour. Cocktails and farewell dinner. (B,D)

Day 7:

Foligno Morning transfer to Foligno station. (B)
