Lecce This morning you will be met by your guide and transferred to your accommodation in the heart of old Lecce. Explore Lecce’s historical centre and enjoy a traditional Pugliese lunch. (L)
Galatina Visit Galatina with its medieval basilica church of Santa Caterina. Learn about the tarantella dance. Stay on for lunch and the rest of the day is at leisure. (B,L)
Lecce – Leuca – Gallipoli – Lecce Today visit a ceramic artisan who creates traditional maiolica ware, followed by Leuca to explore the beautiful basilica. After lunch, continue to Gallipoli and visit an ancient underground olive mill. (B,L)
Travel to Otranto, known for its whitewashed houses and visit the tiny Byzantine church of San Pietro. Enjoy lunch at a traditional masseria or country farmhouse. Return to Lecce and visit several artisans. Tour ends at the train station in Lecce. (B,L)
