Day 1:

Venice/Treviso Collect your car and drive to your hotel in the Treviso area. Enjoy a traditional dinner of regional produce. (D)


Day 2:

Venice Depart for Venice and enjoy time at leisure to explore the city. In the afternoon meet your guide for a tour of the exclusive Venetian Ateliers and discover Venice's top handicraft traditions: velvets, brocades, marbleised paper, books and leather bindings, papier-mâché Carnival masks, gold and silver jewellery, beads and other wonders. Day 3:

Bassano Del Grappa - Marostica Head for the hills of the Belluno Dolomites and arrive at Bassano del Grappa at the base of Mount Grappa where the River Brenta flows into the Po. Stroll across the alpine bridge built by Palladio in the 16th century. Lunch will be served at typical Trattoria, which will consist of a simple menu made up of the local seasonal produce. Afterwards, enjoy a tour of the Grappa Museum and taste some grappa and other spirits. This afternoon we recommend visiting Marostica, the city of Chess. (B,L)


Day 4:

Padua - Verona Drive to Padua, known for the Giotto frescoes in the Scrovegni Chapel and the vast 13th century Basilica of St. Anthony, and enjoy time at leisure. Afterwards we recommend continuing to Verona. Visit the market held in the Piazza delle Erbe e della Frutta where the season’s fresh produce are sold. Proceed to the old centre to see the Arena amphitheatre, the Ponte di Pietra (“stone bridge”), the Arco di Gavie arch and the Basilicas of San Zeno andSan Fermo. Also see the Scaligeri graves, Castel Vecchio and Juliet’s famous balcony. Near San Zeno, stop at the Pasticceria Zeno Gelati e Cioccolato for an ice cream and chocolate pralines. Continue to your next hotel and enjoy dinner. (B,D)


Day 5:

Peschiera del Garda, Lake Garda This morning visit an oil mill on a boutique farm and taste the extra virgin olive oil. In the afternoon visit a winery in Peschiera del Garda and taste the wine produced on the Lugana terrains. After the tasting, we recommend visiting Peschiera del Garda for a walk along the lake. (B)


Day 6:

Bardolino, Lake Garda In the morning, continue to Bardolino to visit a traditional cellar that produces quality red, white and sparkling wines. Afterwards, enjoy lunch in a typical local restaurant. The afternoon is at leisure and we recommend taking a boat trip on Lake Garda. (B,L)


Day 7:

Verona Return your car to Verona or a pre-arranged car depot of your choice. (B)
