Zürich - St. Gallen Rail transfer from the airport to St. Gallen. Afternoon at leisure.
St. Gallen - Appenzellerland - St. Gallen Enjoy a guided city tour of St. Gallen in the morning, followed by a full day discovering Appenzellerland. Transfer from St. Gallen to Rorschach, where you take the Rorschach-Heiden train up to the Biedermeier village of Heiden. From here it’s possible to take a ride in an open-topped vintage carriage. Then you can either take the Post Bus or hike along the famous “Witzweg”. The newly restored cog railway awaits you in Walzenhausen. A quick ride down to Rheineck where a ship will take you on a cruise through the Altenrhein natural reserve back into the bay of Rorschach. (B)
St. Gallen – Vaduz (Liechtenstein) - St. Gallen After breakfast, journey to the Principality of Lichtenstein. One of the smallest and wealthiest countries in the world is still governed by its Monarch. Discover Vaduz with the small train city tour.
